Mother’s Day is this Sunday, and it might look very differently for many of you this year. Since we’re living with my parents temporarily, I’ll actually be seeing my mom on Mother’s Day for the first time in a few years. On the other hand, some of you might NOT be seeing your mom for the first time in years, if not ever. I’ve put together a fun list of gift ideas to send, that might arrive just in time! As I was researching for this list, I thought who better to ask than my mom? Here are some gifts that we came up with. Hopefully your mom would enjoy some of these ideas too:
Massage gift card (for later of course)
This is a great way to support local. Although it can’t be used now, this is something that can be appreciated later. You could also make a day out of it and get a massage/spa day with your mom.
Kitchen Aid mixer
This would be a great gift to split with siblings if you have them. Although it’s pricey, this is a staple.
Plants/fresh flowers
For all of the moms who love to garden or just want a fresh bouquet of flowers to brighten up the indoors, this is the perfect way to send some love. This is also another way to support a small business. Instead of picking up flowers at the grocery store, place an order at your local florist.
Slippers
You can never go wrong with a cozy pair of slippers. If you’re on a budget, this is a great option.
Record player
Help your mom take a trip down memory lane by getting her a record player and some records of her favorite artists.
Barefoot dreams blanket
I’ve heard RAVE reviews about this blanket. This is a great way to spoil your mom if she loves lazy days.
Books
Send your mom a best-seller, a biography of her favorite person, or a classic novel. If she’s a reader, this is the gift that keeps on giving.
Pajamas
My mom & I love pajamas, but they aren’t something I usually think to buy for myself. This is a great gift that doesn’t require a try-on usually before buying.
Kate Spade bag
We aren’t big name-brand shoppers, but I’m including Kate Spade on this list because lately the sales have been AMAZING. Nylon bags are currently 60% off, and as low as $48. Kate Spade is a favorite, so if your mom is in need of a small or large bag, check these out.
Picnic Basket
A picnic basket is a social distancing must-have! We have the one I linked and it comes with so many things.
Natural light alarm clock
If your mom prefers more practical gifts, this is a good one. We have one of these alarm clocks and it’s forever changed the way we wake up. If your mom isn’t a morning person, this might be helpful!
